WhatsApp integration guide
Access Tiny Finch on WhatsApp by chatting with our bot. It's just like chatting with anyone on the platform.
But before you set up the WhatsApp integration, you'll need to create an account on Tiny Finch's website. Tiny Finch allows you to log in with your email or Slack account. You can choose WhatsApp integration, regardless of whether you log in with Slack.
Once your account is ready, follow the Necessary steps on your Dashboard to choose an integration. Click the link to the Integrations page. Once there, pick WhatsApp and click Choose my integration. You will be directed to a page detailing how to chat with Tiny Finch bot on your WhatsApp. The information on the page is the same as the steps below.

Create an account on WhatsApp, if you don’t have any.

Chat with Tiny Finch bot through one of the three methods provided on the WhatsApp integration page): via phone number, link, or QR code.

When the chat screen with our bot opens, type the verification code we placed on your Dashboard in Tiny Finch's website. Get the code there and enter it into the chat screen. Then click Send. A verification code consists of a word combination and is unique. For example: walking-burgundy-baboon.

The Tiny Finch bot will read the code and then send you a welcome message. This marks the completion of your integration. Your website's visitors will send you their chats directly via our Tiny Finch bot.

The bot will also send messages to set up the emojis. React with the emojis we use (see Action emojis on your Dashboard) at least once so the emojis stay in your favorites. You'll find it easier to reuse them later.
Pay close attention to these tips if you're feeling overwhelmed:

If you don't receive a welcome message after sending the verification code, make sure that the code is entered correctly.

If you still don't receive a welcome message, your country is probably restricted by WhatsApp from receiving messages from foreign bots. In this case, we strongly encourage you to opt for other alternatives with Telegram and Slack that function normally worldwide.

If you are trying to reintegrate with WhatsApp, resend the verification code to our bot. Next, adjust the settings to ensure the integration functions properly. Regarding this issue, follow the instructions detailed in the welcome message and in the Necessary steps on your Dashboard.

WhatsApp only supports 1-on-1 chat with our bot. It's clear that it does not support group integration at the moment. If you're using Tiny Finch for a team or group, we strongly suggest integrating it with Telegram or Slack.
