Telegram integration guide
Tiny Finch operates as a bot within a Telegram group, not as an individual chat as with our WhatsApp integration.
Before setting up Telegram integration, you'll need to create an account on Tiny Finch's website. Once your account is ready, follow the Necessary steps on your Dashboard to choose an integration. Click the link to the Integrations page. Once there, pick Telegram and click Choose my integration. You will be directed to a page detailing how to integrate Tiny Finch with your Telegram group. The information on the page is the same as the steps below.

Tiny Finch allows you to log in with your email or Slack account. You can choose any integration, regardless of whether you log in with Slack.

If you know Telegram groups and bots, you know how the integration works. Connect your Telegram group with Tiny Finch by adding tinyfinch_bot and then sending the verification code in the group (see step 5 below). Done.
If you're new to Telegram, follow these steps.

Create an account on Telegram. A small SMS fee will apply for registration.

Once your account is ready, create a group by clicking on the pencil icon at the bottom right and then selecting New Group.

During group creation, add Tiny Finch bot to the group. Type tinyfinch_bot under the Add Members section to make the Tiny Finch bot appear and then start adding. At this stage, you can add your coworkers (optional). After adding the bot, click the right arrow button at the bottom right of your screen to continue.

After that, name your group and then click the arrow button again to finish creating it.

In your newly created group, Tiny Finch will greet you and ask you to send the verification code we placed on your Dashboard in Tiny Finch's website. Get the code there. Enter it into your Telegram group, and then click send. A verification code consists of a word combination and is unique. For example: walking-burgundy-baboon.

The Tiny Finch bot will read the code and then send you a welcome message. This marks the completion of your integration. Chats from your website's visitors will start to be sent directly to your Telegram group.
Pay close attention to these tips if you're feeling overwhelmed:

If you don't receive a welcome message, make sure that the Tiny Finch bot is in the group and that the verification code is entered correctly.

If you move the bot to a new group, resend the verification code in the new group. Then, update your preferred group on the Dashboard in Tiny Finch's website. Regarding the setup, follow the instructions detailed in the welcome message and in the Necessary steps on your Dashboard.
