At Tiny Finch, we're all about human replies
Tiny Finch isn’t building another AI chat tool. We're building a tool for companies that think conversations are important. Here at Tiny Finch, we're all about helping you reply as a human, stay close to your customers, turn conversations into sales and keep your customers coming back for more.
Most companies are rushing towards AI chat. With AI, you'll get faster replies, and you won't have to worry about customer success on your own. Sounds great, but what actually drives trust, sales and loyalty? We're going to take a different route. And it's on purpose.
People just want reassurance.
We're all about connection. When someone gets in touch on your website, they're not just asking a question, they're testing you. They're wondering if anyone's actually going to take them seriously, if they're just going to be ignored, and whether this company is really reliable.
An AI can reply straight away. But it can't get rid of that underlying uncertainty. Humans can. A real reply shows: "You matter. I'm here. I get it." That's what builds confidence. And confidence is what drives decisions, especially in sales.
AI is usually pretty confident, but it's not always right.
AI has a dangerous flaw: it sounds sure, even when it's wrong. Just a heads-up, it might give you out-of-date info. It can get things wrong in rare cases. But the most important thing is that it doesn't really know your business.
No AI has all the info about your product, your customers, the things that might go wrong, and the exceptions. But you do. You've been there, done that. You've dealt with the weird questions, the frustrated users, the tricky situations.
That difference is clear. A human reply is more accurate, relevant and adaptable. And when something goes wrong, a human can recover the situation. AI can't do that.
People talking to each other can help your business to be more successful.
Here's the thing most people don't realize. A conversation between people is more than just a way to solve a ticket. It creates value. When you reply directly, customers feel appreciated, they're more likely to convert, and they're less likely to churn.
And something even more powerful happens: They open up. They'll tell you what they're confused by, what almost made them leave, and what they actually think about your product. That insight? You won't get that from a bot.
When I started Tiny Finch, I chatted to a developer on the live chat who was deploying Tiny Finch in veterinary clinics. We swapped more than 200 messages. He got in touch about a bug, which I sorted quickly. Then we had a chat and he told me what he thinks about the widget and what could be improved. This user feedback was really valuable, so I updated my roadmap. Later on, this user was really pleased that I'd taken his advice on board, and these clinics ended up becoming regular customers of Tiny Finch.
Now, take a step back. While everyone else is automating their support, human interaction is becoming a thing of the past. And the more rare, the better. If your competitors are using AI and you're not, people will definitely notice. It'll give you that extra edge.
Tiny Finch might not be for everyone.
If you're dealing with hundreds of chats every day and need full automation, Tiny Finch isn't for you. But if you're a small or medium-sized business getting around 10 chats a day, that's pretty good, right? Tiny Finch is your chance. Every conversation is an opportunity to turn a lead into a customer and to understand your market better. When a person is in control of those moments, they add up.
AI is getting faster all the time, but human conversation is all about trust. At the end of the day, trust is what matters. Tiny Finch is all about getting people together.
